Shotgun Trap

The PCSA Shotgun Trap facility is situated next to the club's indoor range in rural Poweshiek County. The trap house is equipped with an Promatic trap machine that provides challenging shooting for shotgun trap enthusiasts.

Open Trap Dates will be decided on later in 2013.

The PCSA also hosts high-school trap shooters from Brooklyn, Iowa, during the school year, providing them with both the opportunity to shoot and to learn from experienced PCSA shotgunners.

The trap machine is available at other times for use by PCSA members who have taken a short instruction session and are approved to use the machine on their own.  Members should contact Randy Henchal to schedule an instruction session.

Target clays are available on site for a reduced price, and ammunition is for sale during staffed open trap sessions.
